International Sales Manager, Asia-Pacific

Petcurean is on the lookout for a relationship-focused International Sales Manager for the Asia-Pacific market.  This role is best suited for someone who has an entrepreneurial mindset and who gets excited about:

  1. Working with our Distribution Partners: Ensuring budgets and resources are being used effectively to achieve mutual sales goals.
  2. Farming & Hunting: Developing current markets where distribution is established, and, search for distribution in potential markets where no current distribution partner exists
  3. Nutrition & Training: Petcurean's success is from its nutrition and never-wavering focus on putting pets first. So, as you can guess, to be successful in sales at Petcurean, you need to be passionate about nutrition & sharing that knowledge with our Partners!

What you bring to the table:

  • 5+ years of sales management experience, preferably in the consumer-packaged goods industry, with experience managing international business relationships;
  • Ideally a College or University degree in marketing or business studies;
  • Multi-Lingual in English and another language is an asset (preferably Mandarin or Korean); demonstrated ability to effectively and professionally liaise in English and another language (both orally and in writing).
  • Passionate about Petcurean's ultimate promise of putting pets first;
  • Eager to learn the detailed ins and outs of pet nutrition and being the go-to person for regional inquiries;
  • Proven strategic thought process with the ability to attract new business, develop and grow the customer base through identifying new opportunities;
  • Able to communicate accurately, concisely, and compellingly to a variety of audiences/cultures. Clearly and concisely communicates using spoken or written communication. Presents with poise, authority, and clarity to audiences of varying size and in various settings;
  • Demonstrated leadership, a client service attitude, integrity, creativity and enthusiasm in achieving results;


Did we mention this role is a travel master?

As part of this role, you will have the ability to travel internationally to build and foster relationships with our existing and new distribution partners. Not to mention, from time to time you'll have the opportunity to visit our Head Office in beautiful British Columbia, Canada.    

So, how much travel can you expect?  40-50% of your time you'll get to visit and build business in the countries surrounding Asia.

The successful candidate must have a valid passport and shall perform his/her duties at such places and during such times as may be reasonably necessary.
